Interview with Mike Puck, ZEGA Financial, on Alternative Investments

As we've discussed in prior videos and podcasts, the new 60/40 investment portfolio is no longer a mix of just stocks and bonds, the 40% now includes alternative investments. In this episode, Lisa Durant interviews Mike Puck from ZEGA Financial about alternative investments. How do alternative investments fit into a portfolio? ZEGA offers protected or buffered options strategies and income strategies only available through financial advisors. The strategies sit either in a separately managed account (SMA) or via an ETF both for brokerage and IRA accounts with minimums ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. We also ask Mike about current market and economic dynamics, and an opinion on what avenues investors could seek finishing off 2022 into 2023. Hint: stay invested and income, income, income!
